Here are a few examples of the S1000D Application Suite that I helped to develop alongside another developer.
NORSoft is an S1000D application suite developed in-house for NORDAM. I worked closely with another developer to create this application suite to produce S1000D compliant Technical Publications for: Gulfstream, Airbus, and Pratt & Whitney. The development of this application suite helped NORDAM avoid the high cost of purchasing an external commercial S1000D application and allowed us the ability to modify the production of different technical manuals to suite the customer's specific needs.
The software consisted of the following: CSDB Web Application, Controlled Natural Language Validator (CNLV), CDF Set, CGM Graphics Viewer Application, S1000D Project Controlled Application, Data Module Requirements List (DMRL) Manager, Data Dispatch Note (DDN) Application, Socket Servers, FrameMaker ExtendScript Validation Plug-ins, and JSON, XML and XLS with VBA files.
This application suite imported/exported data, crunched Business Rules and Style Guides, created Element Definition Documents, created XML application files, S1000D templates, and authoring files and took the process all the way through validation and delivery.
This is a proprietary project that I worked on, so I am unable to share sharper screen-shots, but I am happy to discuss this application if you would like to hear more.
