MY STORY

I am a Senior UX/UI Designer and Technical Publications Systems Administrator with more than 25 years of experience designing enterprise applications, technical publication workflows, and aerospace information systems. My background spans User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), S1000D implementation, XML architecture, information architecture, database management, structured publishing technologies, and enterprise application design, supporting organizations including Boeing, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream, Airbus, Pratt & Whitney, and The NORDAM Group.

What I enjoy most about my career is solving complex problems by understanding both the people who use a system and the information that drives it. Throughout my career, I've partnered with users, engineers, developers, technical authors, and business stakeholders to transform complex workflows into intuitive, scalable solutions that improve productivity, reduce cognitive load, and support real business goals. Whether modernizing legacy systems, designing enterprise applications, or improving technical publication workflows, my focus is always the same: making technology easier for people to understand and use.

My background in learning design and technical training has profoundly influenced my approach to UX. I believe the best interfaces don't simply look good—they help people learn quickly, work confidently, and accomplish their goals with minimal friction. By combining human-centered design, accessibility, information architecture, and deep technical expertise, I strive to create intuitive, inclusive experiences that simplify complexity without sacrificing functionality.

To me, UX has never been limited to software. Every process, workflow, document, training program, and interaction shapes someone's experience with an organization. When those experiences are intuitive, accessible, and thoughtfully designed, people work more confidently, collaborate more effectively, and organizations become more successful. That's why I believe great UX is about removing friction wherever people interact with information, technology, or processes. UX isn't simply a design discipline confined to software and technology—it's a business strategy.

I serve as the Technical Publications Systems Administrator supporting complex aerospace publication environments and S1000D implementations. My role extends well beyond system administration—I work closely with customers, developers, engineers, and technical writers to design workflows, troubleshoot publishing challenges, and improve the way technical information is created, managed, and delivered.
